I am currently conducting a postdoctoral project at the Museum of Comparative Zoology of Harvard University in the Giribet Lab, Dept of Organismic and Evolutionary Biology.
My project aims at:
- clarifying species delimitation and phylogeny of the family Pinnidae and characterizing the evolutionary patterns associated with biogeographical events.
- identifying the molecular processes driving speciation in sympatric sister species of the family Pïnnidae using innovative parallel transcriptomic analyses of specific tissue types involved in shell morphology and reproduction isolation.
