I am working on invertebrate marine population genetics, connectivity and phylogeography. My main interest stands in understanding the evolutionnary processes driving genetic diversity and speciation in coral reef associate bivalves. To answer these questions I combine field work, observation studies, molecular biology and genetic statistics.

Research Interests

I am currently conducting a postdoctoral project at the Museum of Comparative Zoology of Harvard University in the Giribet Lab, Dept of Organismic and Evolutionary Biology.
My project aims at:
- clarifying species delimitation and phylogeny of the family Pinnidae and  characterizing the evolutionary patterns associated with biogeographical events.
-  identifying the molecular processes driving speciation in sympatric sister species of the family Pïnnidae using innovative parallel transcriptomic analyses of specific tissue types involved in shell morphology and reproduction isolation.

Details about my different research projects and publications are linked on the sides.
